As an online grandparent trying to succeed in internet marketing I am reaching the conclusion that it is time to follow my dreams! Internet marketing is a highly infiltrated industry. I have spent over 45 years in the corporate world as an executive administrative assistant and my latest position was as a document control specialist with a pharmaceutical company. By law, full-power television stations nationwide must begin broadcasting exclusively in a digital format by June 12, 2009. The U.S. Congress approved an extension of the deadline, which was originally set for February 17.
I was thinking about this this other day and a few things crossed my mind. How many people are out there running around in a tizzy trying to make sure everything is in place for June 12th so they will not be without television?

My son-in-law gave my daughter and his two children tickets to see Cirque du Soleil, Kooza for Christmas. He was extremely thoughtful and included me in this outing. Yesterday was the big day. It is really difficult to find words to describe how awesome we all found this production. Absolutely amazing!
It was by far the most entertaining event of this nature I have ever seen. Even before Kooza started there were clowns and people from the production entertaining the crowd.
It was wonderful to not only watch the talents of these entertainers but to watch the expressions on my grandchildren’s faces. We all sat in amazement.
The show lasted for approximately three hours with a 30 minute intermission. It seemed that we had no more than sat down and it was over. Now that is entertainment!!
In looking back on this exciting event you can’t help but think of the number of hours of training and practice these entertainers put into these acts. In addition, the precise placement of props and work of the production crew is phenomenal. Every aspect of this production worked perfectly. A very well oiled machine of people and materials all coming together to give those of us in attendance more than we could have ever hoped for, and believe me we were hoping for a lot. It is definitely difficult to find words to describe our feelings.

I am a single grandparent surving the economy with a home based internet marketing business. There are many hardships in our lives nowadays. We are all being wounded left and right in one way or another.
There are many ways you can be wounded. Some instances are physically, mentally, financially or emotionally. Which do you dread the most? Seriously, I am concerned and asking this question so that you can answer it. We are called to bear one another’s burdens! I am serious. In hards times like these we need to be looking out for each other. Even if we see a stranger in need, we should stop and help them.
I have been wounded several times physically in car accidents. Actually one of my last accidents made the hairs on my arms stand at attention. I was on my way home from listening to a friend perform and an opossum crossed the road in from of me. I was approximately two blocks from home. I looked back over my shoulder to see if the critter was safe and when I turned back to the road my car was perfectly centered on a very large concrete utility pole. When I came to in the hospital the next morning I remembered a man dragging me out of my car and trying to revive me in his house with wet wash clothes. I also remembered walking towards my dad and he said to me, “You can’t come now you have your mother and two girls to look after.” I had just gotten divorced after being married for 12 years. My dad had passed away 11 years before. I was told I was very fortunate to be alive and I don’t doubt that in the least.
People are wounded mentally on a daily basis. Domestic mental abuse, parentalm ental abuse, and just the overall stress of trying to make ends meet in our everyday lives can wound us mentally. I personally would take physical wounding over mental wounding. The scars are not visible with mental wounding but they can last a lifetime. I find mental exhaustion more extensive than physical exhaustion. What do you think?
With the economic crisis in our country, currently many people are suffering financial wounding. There are numerous corporate people who have devoted their lives to their jobs who are now facing layoffs. I was laid off over two years ago. It is difficult to replace a job that you have worked many years at, climbing the ladder and developing capabilities with a similar position. You can always step down and toss all of your expertise you have worked so hard to acquire aside and work at a supermarket, restaurant, or retail store. There most definitely is nothing wrong with those jobs, but in developing your skills you have also climbed the compensation ladder. It is especially wounding to be the sole earner in your household. My heart and prayers go out to people who have families to support. Because of the many hours this person will need to work to support his family this suffering is also passed on to the other members of the family. They will have less time for their spouse, their children or even just relaxation time for themself. This can create an enormous amount of stress. Everyone ends up feeling like the victim.

Just as the strong winds and heavy rains came racing through my area today, the following thoughts raced through my mind. I am always thinking of ways to become better at my internet marketing business. When we reach retirement age we have come through many years of being the best we could be at what we were doing in the corporate workplace.
