The front of the Kindle 1 (Left) and Kindle 2 ...

Our world of technology grows by leaps and bounds. Every day there is another development in the world of technology. Some of these inventions help us expedite our workloads while others enhance our world of entertainment.

The Kindle is one of those new items. Its usefulness would fall into both categories. Not only can you load your favorite novels, newspapers and magazines but you can also use it for work files.

Macintosh and Windows users can download and transfer through the USB connection Kinddle content, personal/business documents, MP3 and Audible files. When connected to your computer’s USB port Kindle will show up as a removable mass-storage device.
The necessary system requirements are as follows:

Windows-based: Windows 2000 or later
Macintosh: Mac OS X 10.2 or later
USB port: You can use an available port or an attached USB hub with an available port

The Kindle has a built-in PDF Reader. Just think about the convenience of being able to unload the loose papers in your briefcase, such as case studies, manuals, financial statements, etc and put them all on your Kindle. This would allow you to take all your papers with you and read them on the go.

Another remarkable tool on the Kindle is the “Text-to-Speech” feature. This will read (in English) your newspapers, blogs, books or magazines to you. If you get tired of listening, you can switch back to reading. This is hands-free as when the Kindle is reading to you it automatically turns the pages. If you have a preference between a male or female voice you can make that choice. You can even adjust the speed at which the reader reads to you. You can use the Kindle to read your books to you if you are in your car. It is absolutely amazing all this device does!

If you are a person that finds it difficult to start your day without reading your paper you will really enjoy Kindle’s feature of having your newspapers automatically delivered wirelessly to your Kindle before they reach the news stands. Just think if you are traveling you will not have to rush out to pick up a paper. You can make your coffee in your room, or go to the restaurant for your breakfast and your paper will be waiting for you on your Kindle. Kindle has a 5-way controller allowing you to flip between articles. If you come across an article you want to save and reread later you have the option to clip and save the entire article to read it again later.

I know that when I first thought about using a Kindle I did not think it would work for me as I like to read with a highlighter and be able to make notes in the material I am reading. Kindle’s QWERTY keyboard allows you to add annotations to the text. Because it is digital you can edit, delete and export your notes. Do you ever lose your place when you are reading? This will not happen with the Kindle. It remembers where you left off and opens to the last page you read. This is a real time saver in itself!

If you enjoy audiobooks you can go to audible.com and have the option to download from an inventory of 50,000 titles for a three month trial cost of $7.95 a month. If you decide to stay with this service the cost increases to $14.95 per month after that. I personally enjoy audiobooks when I am spending long intervals working on the computer. You will never be at a loss for reading material.

Kindle has a high-resolution screen that boasts 16 shades of gray giving you sharp images and photos. What a convention way to carry your favorite photos.

The Kindle DX with a 9.7” diagonal E-link® is 10.4” 7.2” x 0.38” and will hold 3,500 books. The smaller version, the regular Kindle has a 6” diagonal E-link® and is 8” x 5.3” x 0.36” and holds 1,500 books. With this type of storage you can clearly see how it will lighten your load when traveling.

Your biggest decision is to decide whether you want to purchase the Kindle DX for $489.00 or the first Kindle that sells for $259.00.

I have included links to Amazon to learn more about the Kindle. Amazon also has a great service involving the Kindle. You can purchase and download books, etc. directly to your Kindle or to your PC. There is even a great assortment of Free Books. Be sure to check this out.

I hope that this information has been helpful to you in making a decision on purchasing a Kindle. After reviewing this information, I personally feel that it could be a great asset.

Happy reading!

Affiliate marketing is a working relationship between a merchant and an affiliate marketer’s website. This method is used by many internet marketers trying to create revenue for their site. Done properly affiliate marketing can be an effective cost-efficient, method that will deliver long-term results. Affiliate marketing is quickly becoming a trend in the internet marketing industry.

Many benefits are realized by the merchant . To begin with, they will have a more extensive market in which to sell their product. Having more outlets serves to create more sales for the merchant. It will be beneficial for the merchant to do research to be certain the proposed affiliate marketer’s niche will be advantageous with his product or services. It is important that the merchants needs align with the interested affiliate website. If the merchandise coincides with the affiliate marketer’s website there would be a better chance to generate income.

There are many markets and customers that a merchant does not have the time to research. Think about all of the banner ads you see on the various sites you come across. These all serve to create business and profits for the products/services being promoted. After seeing a banner ad a person might be interested in checking further into the information they saw. If a sale is forthcoming the affiliate marketer will make a commission and the merchant makes a sale. This is a win-win situation. The merchant benefits from repeat customers and their word of mouth recommendations to other consumers. The more sites a merchant’s product is seen on, the more his earnings increase.

There is a learning curve when you become an affiliate marketer. You want to be sure that the merchandise you are promoting on your site lines up with your niche and the articles on your site. You would not promote horses if you were writing about exotic cruises!

As an affiliate marketer you want to offer appropriate products and services to the users that will visit your website. Be sure to do your research to determine what your user base would be interested in. Are you appealing to stay-at-home moms, other internet marketers or the business industry? Remember you more than likely can not be all things to all people.

Affiliate marketing is a non-disruptive means to generate additional income from your website. You will need to research the dynamics of banner marketing if you choose to go that route. Learn the proper ways to add links and merchant information to your web pages. Just do not throw a web page together. Take your time, do your research and it will pay off in the long run.  To assure that you will be getting more traffic to your sites, be sure to add new content to your articles on a consistent basis.  We all know that the Google spiders enjoy new content!

When a relationship is developed between an affiliate marketer and a merchant it can be an advantage to both parties. You can turn a website that currently is an out-of-pocket expense to a site that is self-paying.

I hope that this information has been helpful and given you some ideas to create additional revenue from your blogs and websites.

I have been involved with home based businesses for the past 5 – 6 years.  The first 3 years were not strictly “internet marketing”.  I have learned a lot over these past few years and I would like to share my trials and tribulations.

First of all, you must do your due diligence.  Make sure whatever you are getting involved in has a good reputation and track record.  Check with the Better Business Bureau to see if any complaints have been logged against the company you are considering and most importantly if these complaints have been resolved.

Once you sign up with a business, be sure to connect with your sponsor and/or up line to glean from their training and experience.  Attend online conferences every opportunity you can.  If your business lacks support…..think twice about continuing!

Don’t stop at just the training that is being offered to you…Google “marketing training” and learn from what you find.  I personally made the mistake to settle for what I was being told as being the Gospel truth.  I have since found out that a lot of the things I was doing, especially related to advertising my business, was not the full picture and I really needed to do more to be successful at my business.  Advertising your business opportunity is a VERY important aspect of your business.  If you are going to succeed you need to learn how to get the word out to the multitudes about your business.

My last business I worked diligently for 10 to 14 hours a day.  I did everything I was instructed to do.  I made phone calls to my down line, I sent emails and welcomed new members, I sent monthly emails out to my entire down line, and  I let people know when they would be rolling up and lose their position, just to mentioned a few!  I still had a lot more money going out than what was coming in.

I recently joined the $200 Per Day Blueprint.  Through this business opportunity I have been blessed to become part of The Crazy Foxes Internet Marketing Group, which is comprised of professional entrepreneurs who are always there 24/7 to help.    I truly have learned more in the past 3 months than I learned the past 2-1/2 years with my other business.

Whatever your business might be I want to point out a couple of tools that will be beneficial to you and help you become successful.

There are lots of programs out there, but NONE offer the training, support and REAL income potential that Global NPN offers.  For $10.75 a month you will be blown away by the tools they offer.  You will find recorded and live training, multiple streams of income (MSI), low or no risk and one on one and small group coaching, just to mention a few.

I am sure many of you have heard of Veretekk.  You can join for free and have a Silver Membership, but the true power lies in upgrading and obtaining a Gold Membership.  With Veretekk you have access to Webnars, your portals (in the Gold) will consist of Traffic, Profit and SEO Portals, you will have Verefied Email and live training with Veretraining.  This is truly a powerhouse of networking tools that will help you to become successful.  There are videos to help you through all of the phases.  I especially like these as I can do them 24/7 and go back and re-listen to items I don’t understand the first time around.

So whatever your business may be….whether it is a business that helps you save money on what you are already doing, or solutions for your home, health or wealth, the tools I’ve mentioned above will be useful to you.

I hope that you will take the time to check out the opportunities above.

Whatever your business, I wish you great success and hope that you will find the tools and help that I have come across.  It truly makes all the difference.
